About Me
My name is Ethan Murray and I'm a graduating senior at the University of Washington with a major in Cinema and Media Studies. I am a student filmmaker with a strong passion for cinematography and editing. My interests in film are vast but I usually gravitate towards horror, psychological-thriller, existentialism and stories about grappling with identity. I'm a huge fan of everything David Lynch and particularly drawn to the world of Twin Peaks. My film viewing habits reflect the stories I tell in my own films, with my work taking influence from a multitude of filmmakers such as David Lynch, Wong Kar-wai, Jane Schoenbrun, and multimedia artists like Sam Lake and Toshio Matsumoto. I'm also an avid collector of physical media, with a collection of around 600 films on various formats.
